Water Leak Detection Training Seminar

A leak detection program cannot be successful without commitment from all levels of utility personnel. Yes, water line leaks affect a utility's production process and distribution systems maintenance, but they also wreak havoc with a utility's bottom line.

Many water systems governing bodies and staff member seem to be unaware of (and in some case unconcerned about) just how costly unaccounted-for water loss is to their systems. This session will discuss the water utility's real costs associates with unaccounted -for water loss and financial justifications for implementation of a leak detection program.

During the session, participants will also learn abut the nature of the leak sounds and discuss a number of leak detection strategies including zone measurement and zone monitoring, preliminary surveys, pre-locations and pinpointing techniques, and the use of various types of leak detection equipment including electro-acoustic leak detectors and correlators.

Pipe and Cable Locating Training Seminar

Metrotech presents a series of training sessions every year, around the world, providing you with information and training tips you can use today. All designed to improve your locating productivity and accuracy. We know you work hard - it's important to us that you work smart. When you attend the Pipe & Cable Locating Training Seminar, you will learn your equipment's capabilities, limitations, and best of all, how to work around them.

You will gain mastery over the tool and the situation with your own problem solving ability, and we are sure by the end of the seminar you will be a better locator.

Whichever session you choose, water leak detection or pipe & cable locating, the training will be valuable and designed specifically for improving your understanding and your accuracy and productivity. A certificate of completion will be awarded to all who attend. A nominal $99.00 fee for seminars with refreshments will be charged for each attendee. Each additional person from the same company attending a seminar with refreshments will be charged $89.00. A nominal $110.00 fee for seminars that include lunch will be charged for each attendee. Each additional person from the same company attending a seminar with lunch will be charged $100.00.
