PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regional Sales Manager's (RSM) primary responsibility is sales and support of Metrotech products (direct or through distributors) to achieve company revenue and profit goals within a defined territory. Growing sales, year over year through determined sales efforts with current customers, key accounts and new prospects. Use all means possible to expand the use and purchase of the Metrotech brand product. In pursuit of the sales objectives, the RSM must develop long term relationships with customers, key accounts and distribution at all levels. These relationships are developed through basic process sales techniques for capital tools, including direct sales, business assessment, product demonstration, post-sales support and training, product marketing. The RSM is required to design, recommend and implement sales and marketing programs to achieve short and long-term sales goals. Provides customer training, technology seminars and equipment demonstration for customers and prospects using a variety of techniques selling and marketing techniques.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Demonstrates superior selling and negotiating skills with a variety of decision makers from all sizes of firms. Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation to small & large groups, PC, Excel, Power point, Word, Outlook, ACT!, e-mail, and, business analysis, and forecasting and territory management. Self determined & motivated, capable of managing multiple projects. Requires little supervision to accomplish tasks, and goals. Makes best use of time in covering territory and completing projects on time and within budget. Uses all available resources to accomplish goals and objectives.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Experienced in utility locating, familiar with electro-magnetic locating instruments, techniques and practice of locating buried utilities. Experienced in common underground construction practices. Thorough understanding of basic electrical circuits, physics and ohms law. A degree in engineering or technical discipline with experience in sales, business, marketing or related area, or equivalent experience and 2 years related industrial sales experience. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Willingness to travel extensively by automobile and airplane with overnight travel ranging 75%. Must currently be living within the territory, and willing to work from a home office. Capable of having a business telephone line including DSL or high speed cable modem in the home office. Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
COMPENSATION
Salary commensurate with experience plus performance bonus. Metrotech may at it's discretion provide a company truck or van and pay all associated expenses or provide RSM with an auto allowance. Commission and performance bonus is part of the total compensation. Benefits include: personal time off (PTO), paid holidays, 401k, health, dental and vision.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
As software development engineer you will play a key part in design and implementation of host solutions that integrate Metrotech's battery operated, handheld equipment. You will participate in the design and implementation of the Windows host based "end-to-end" product solutions utilizing web technologies, SQL databases, user interfaces and wireless technology to enable the full functionality of our products.Your job responsibilities will include working with customers, marketing and an experienced development team including software and hardware engineers, embedded system architects, DSP algorithm designers, and test engineers. The position includes analysis of existing and new technologies, object-oriented design and analyses, writing functional specifications, create intuitive user interfaces, implementation, and testing for verification of high quality software.
